Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Normal Hearing Group: AC and BC thresholds less than 25 dBHL. Bilateral normal middle ear function Hearing-Impaired Group: AC and BC thresholds greater than 25 dBHL Type of hearing loss: SNHL

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria (For both): Alcohol ingestion within the past 24 hours, already diagnosed cases of neurological or psychological impairments (e.g., ADHD, dementia, clinical depression), chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and Illness on the day of testing -Use of hearing aids -Thresholds greater than 90 dB or profound hearing loss.

To adapt and validate an existing long-version auditory Psychomotor Vigilance Task into a shorter format suitable for fatigue assessment rather than induction.Timepoint: ten minutes
