Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adult patients more than 18 years undergoing curative hepatic resection for hepatobiliary tumors. 2 No prior PVE before resection. 3 Placement of postoperative drain with measurable output. 4 Available postoperative follow-up and laboratory data. 5 Patients with post-operative placement of pigtail

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Preoperative ascites. 2 Incomplete records on postoperative course or missing drain data. 3 Patients without surgical drain placement
