Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals aged between 20-50 years. 2.Diagnosed cases of diabetes mellitus (Type 2) and chronic periodontitis. 3.Willingness to participate and provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with systemic conditions other than diabetes that may affect periodontal status. 2.Patients with hand deformities or skin conditions affecting dermatoglyphic quality. 3.Individuals on medications influencing glycemic control or periodontal status (e.g., steroids)
