Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 5 to 9 years 2. Presence of active dentinal caries with RDT 2mm in primary molars 3. Children who can communicate and respond to pain/anxiety scales

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with systemic diseases or medical conditions affecting pain perception or behavior 2. Children on long-term analgesics or sedatives that may alter pain perception 3. Presence of acute infection or abscess in the target teeth 4. Uncooperative children.
