Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with CT Paranasal Sinus (PNS) coronal scans that allow for visualization of the anterior skull base structures including cribriform plate and lateral lamella of ethmoid bone adequate for measurement of olfactory fossa depth. Images must have been acquired and reconstructed using routine institutional protocol and be available in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) format for analysis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of prior sinonasal/skull base surgery, facial trauma involving ethmoid bone or anterior skull base, Congenital anomalies involving ethmoid bone, Sinonasal tumors, severe polyposis, sinonasal infections/distortions that deform normal anatomy of the olfactory fossa, CT images with motion artefacts or poor image quality, Poor visualization of cribriform plate or lateral lamella of ethmoid bone on CT scan.
