Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systemically healthy patients of 18-16 years of age. 2. Posterior teeth with clinical diagnosis of apical periodontitis or pulp necrosis with minimum two red flags as per biomimetic structural evaluation will be included. 3. posterior teeth with radiographic findings revealing coronal radiolucency involving enamel, dentin and pulp, with periapical radiolucency on RVG with periapical index (PAI) score less than or equal to 3 will be included. 4.A written informed consent will be taken from all the patients and only those patients ready to sign the consent form will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Patients with poor oral hygiene, severe periodontal disease, endo- perio lesion, open apices, internal/external resorption, and fractured roots will be excluded. ii. Patients with developmental anomaly or pathology or congenital defects, with poor prognosis, mal-aligned and heavy bruxism resulting in lost physiologic contour, will be excluded. iii. Teeth indicated for re-root canal treatment will be excluded from the study. iv. Teeth not in functional occlusion and absence of an adjacent or opposing tooth will be excluded. v. Teeth with subgingival loss of tooth structure rendering them non- restorable will be excluded. vi. Pregnant and lactating mothers will be excluded.
