Intervention1: Active release technique: The active release technique will be performed in long sitting position. During the procedure the subjects will have to shorten the fascia of the affected foot

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Positive windlass test Experiencing foot pain while walking and standing for more than 3 months History of inferior heel pain for at least 3 months Pain on palpation of the medial calcaneal tubercle or proximal plantar fascia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Prior heel surgery or foot surgery History of foot and ankle fractures in last 6 months Recent infectious foot diseases i.e., dermatitis. Referred pain due to sciatica History of systemic diseases (e g rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes) Corticosteroid injection in the heel in the last 3-6 months
