Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 35- 65 years. 2. Patients with moderate to severe chronic periodontitis. 3. Probing pocket depth of more or equal 5mm. 4. Clinical attachment loss of more or equal 3mm. 5. 2 or 3 wall intrabony defects with radiographic defect of size more or equal 3 mm. 6. Patients ready to give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with known systemic illness which affects on bone metabolism. 2. Drugs known to delay wound healing and drugs affecting platelets . 3. Immunocompromised individual. 4. Pregnancy and lactation women. 5. Smoking (or tobacco use in any other form) . 6. Poor oral hygiene.
