Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with clinical and radiological evidence of sinusitis with or without nasal polyposis 2.Patients in the age group 18 60 years 3.Patients willing and able to provide informed consent and adhere to follow-up schedules.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had already undergone ESS (revision case) or any other endoscopic rhinological operative intervention. 2. Patients with chronic granulomatous disease of the nose 3. Patients with benign and malignant nasal tumors 4.Patients with known bleeding disorders or on anticoagulation therapy that cannot be safely stopped. 5.Patients with active sinonasal infection at the time of surgery 6.Pregnant or breastfeeding women 7.Immunocompromised patients 8.Patients with a known allergy to suture materials or any medications used in the study.

1. To evaluate the postoperative patency of the middle meatus in both groups using endoscopic scores. 2.To assess the impact of both techniques on olfactory function, measured by subjective and objective olfactory tests. 3. To compare the incidence of post operative complications, such as synechiae formation, septal perforation, or nasal obstruction, between the two groups. 4.
