Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age group 6 to 11 years old, irrespective of sex, caste, religion, and socio-economic status. Children with appropriate Growth, Development, and Behaviour according to their respective ages. Children who are physically and mentally healthy. Children who haven t taken Swarnaprashana before. Children whose guardians are willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: H/O hypersensitivity to the trial drug or any of its ingredients. Children with disorders such as Immuno-compromised-deficiency conditions, Chronic disorders, Learning disorders, and Genetic disorders. Children with gross Brain-Spine damage, Mental retardation, Neurological disorders, and Neurodevelopmental disorders. Children with speech or hearing, or visual impairment.

To evaluate the effect of Swarnaprashna on improving the Intelligence of children of age group 6 to 11 years old using Malins Intelligence Scale for Indian Children.(MAASATH PARAMAMEDHAVI)Timepoint: At baseline (before Starting one-month Swarnaprashna regimen) and after one month (which is after completion of one-month Swarnaprashna regimen)—

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of Swarnaprashna on decreasing the frequency of episodes of Acute Respiratory Tract Infections and Acute Gastrointestinal Infections in the past 6-month time period, assessed after 6-month time period following 1 month of Swarnaprashna treatment. Using measure of morbidity used in previous study. (VYADHIBHIR NA CHA DHRISHYATE)Timepoint: The frequency of episodes of Acute Respiratory Tract Infections and Acute Gastrointestinal Infections in the past 6-month time period will be noted, before starting one-month Swarnaprashana regimen. One-month Swarnaprashana Regimen will be given. Then following 6 months time period, the frequency of episodes of Acute Respiratory Tract Infections and Acute Gastrointestinal Infections will be assesed.—
