Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged 12 to 60 years with clinical diagnosis of Parikartika (fissure- in- ano). 2) Irrespective of gender. 3) Cooperative individuals. 4) Participants willing to provide written informed consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Age below 12 years or above 60 years. 2) Secondary fissure caused by systemic disorders like Crohn s disease, tuberculosis, cancer, syphilis, HIV, Diabetes, etc. 3) Patient with fissure in ano accompanied with fistula in ano, abscess, prolapse, or sever haemorrhoid. 4) Patient who has undergone prior surgery for any anorectal disorder. 5) Pregnant women. 6) Uncooperative patients

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of this study is the relief in both signs and symptoms associated with anal fissure. This includes a reduction in pain during and after defecation, decreased bleeding per rectum, healing of the fissure as observed on clinical examination, and improvement in associated symptoms such as itching, irritation, and discomfort in the anal region. The effectiveness of the intervention will be assessed based on the degree of symptomatic relief and clinical healing over a specified period.Timepoint: 60 days
