Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult aged 18-65 years of both sex. 2. diagnosis of IBS by Rome iv Criteria. 3. IBS symptom severity score (IBS-SSS)more than equal to 175 (moderate to severe)- optimal threshold. 4. Stable medications (no changes in IBS meds in prior 4 weeeks) 5. Able to provide informed consent and comply with study visits and diary.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Alarm features (unexplained weight loss, GI bleeding, persistent fever) requiring further workup. 2. Known organic gastrointestinal disease (IBD, celiac disease, colon cancer). 3. Major psychiatric illness or substance abuse interfering with participation. 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women. 5. Adults aged below 18 years of age and above 65 years of age. 6. Concurrent participation in another interventional trial. 7. Patients with any co-morbidity.
