Intervention1: Achyranthus aspera gel: periodontitis patients having pockets after scaling and root planing Achyranthus aspera gel is applied as local drug delivery 2 weeks after scaling and root plan

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with good systemic health. Periodontitis Patients with probing pocket depth 5mm to 7 mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have received any form of antibiotics in last 6 months Pregnant and lactating women Patients having history of drug allergies

Measure	Time frame
To compare and evaluate reduction in the Periodontal Pocket Depth and gain in Clinical attachment level along with reduction in microbial load.Timepoint: drug is applied as Local drug delivery agent in periodontal pockets, at 1 week after scaling and root planing then microbe porphyromonas gingivalis load is evaluated at 3 months after fel application through PCR	—
