Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who fulfill the eligibility criteria of Nasya (Nasya Arha)47. 2. Patients suffering from Aphasia after non-haemorrhagic stroke. 3. Patients between the age group 30 to 70 years . 4. Patients of Post stroke aphasia: 3rd day after the stroke up to 6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who DO NOT fulfill the eligibility criteria of Nasya (Nasya anarha)48. 2. Patients who are affected with born aphasia. 3. Other neurological disorders and conditions like haemorrhagic stroke, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer s disease, frontotemporal dementia, brain tumors, infections like encephalitis, meningitis, inflammatory conditions like multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, metabolic disorders. 4. Patients who are not willing for Nasya.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
This study may provide the 1) Improvement in signs and symptoms of Post Stroke Aphasia. 2) Improvement in scores of Mississippi Aphasia Screening Test.Timepoint: At the end of study (0th, 14th, 28th days)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.The MS Aphasia Screening Test is expected to help objectively assess the severity of speech impairment in patients suffering from Pakshaghataja Vak-graha, thereby contributing to the standardization of measurable parameters for Vak-graha. 2.Administration of Nasya therapy is expected to produce Samyaka Nasya Lakshanas, indicating proper therapeutic action and supporting its role in the management of Pakshaghataja Vak-graha. 3.Improvement in the functional ability and independence of patients with Pakshaghata is expected to be observed, which will be reflected through better scores on the Barthel Index of Activities of Daily Living. Timepoint: At the end of study (0th, 14th, 28th days)
