Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients classified into the ASA classes one to three Patients scheduled to undergo elective head and neck surgery Patients will be extubated in the operating theater Anticipated surgical duration of at least 90 minutes to allow for sufficient need for rocuronium redosing
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal for procedure. Patients classified into the ASA class four Patient with pre-existing neuromuscular disorder Known allergy to neuromuscular blocking agents Abnormal liver or kidney function Patient with BMI Greater than 25 kilogram per meter square Patients receiving medications known to interfere with neuromuscular blockade Patients with moderate to severe cardiac or respiratory disease that could affect intraoperative ventilatory parameters or hemodynamics history of malignant hyperthermia
