Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient is willing to participate in trial. Adults aged between 31 years-60 years Glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1C) morethan 6.5 less than 8. Fasting blood sugar (FBS) more than 126 mg/dl less than 200 mg/dl. Postprandial blood sugar (PPBS) more than 199 mg/dl less than 260 mg/dl. Patient fullfil all essential objective parameter along with more than or equal to 50 % of subjective parameters.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient not willing to participate in trial. Age group less than 31 years to more than 60 years. Patients diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension. Fasting blood sugar level less than 126 mg/dl and more than 200 mg/dl. postprandial blood sugar level less than 199 mg/dl and more than 260 mg/dl. Patient with less than 6.5 percentage HbA1C and more than 8.0 percentage HbA1C

To establish the efficacy of phaltrikadi kawath ghan vati and nishakatakadi Kashaya and role of virechana karma in cases of madhumeha. Timepoint: Study duration: 60 days of treatment Follow up: Every week for 2 months with medicine.

MeasureTime frame
To get a better insight of etiopathology of diabities mellitus type 2 in terms of ayurvedic madhumeh. To asses the side effect of drug if any .Timepoint: Study duration: 60 days of treatment Follow up: Every week for 2 months with medicine.
