Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Postmenopausal women 2. Age range: Typically, 45 60 years. 3. Prehypertension diagnosis: Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP) 120 139 mmHg and/or Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP) 80 89 mmHg (not on antihypertensive medication). 4. Moderately active (not engaged in structured exercise programs). 5. Ability to provide informed consent and adhere to study proto
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Established hypertension (SBP greater than 140 mmHg or DBP greater than 90 mmHg) requiring medications. 2. Prior history of heart attack, stroke, peripheral artery disease. 3. Uncontrolled metabolic disorders (e.g, diabetes, severe dyslipidaemia). 4. Severe orthopaedic or musculoskeletal conditions preventing participation in HIIT. 5. Use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that could impact cardiovascular measures. 6. Participation in another structured exercise intervention within the past six months. 7. Cognitive impairment or neurological disorders such as Alzheimer s, Parkinson s affecting adherence.
