Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing lower limb orthopedic and plastic surgeries using a tourniquet. Patients undergoing elective lower limb surgeries under spinal anaesthesia. ASA physical status I-II Age between 18-65 years Tourniquet application duration greater than 45 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Contraindications to spinal anesthesia. (2) Patients who are not willing to participate in the study. (3) Obstetric patients. (4) Hypertension stage 2 greater than 160/100 mmHg. ( JNC guidelines ) (5) Recent stroke or myocardial infarction.

1. Incidence and severity of hypotension (SBP less than 90mmHg or more than 20% drop from baseline) 2. Incidence of tachycardia/bradycardia (Heart rate more than 100 bpm or more than 20% increase from baseline/ Heart rate less than 50 bpm or more than 20% decrease from baseline)Timepoint: 1. Incidence and severity of hypotension (SBP less than 90mmHg or more than 20% drop from baseline) 2.
