Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To evaluate and compare the predictive accuracy of different airway assessment indices specifically modified Mallampati grade (MMG), neck circumference at the thyroid (NCt) level, neck circumference to thyromental distance ratio (NCTMD), and hyomental distance ratio (HMDR)-for DVL between obese and non-obese patientsTimepoint: At the time of Intubation | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To findout prevalence of difficult laryngeal visualization (DVL) in obese and non-obese patients undergoing general anesthesia and endotracheal intubation using various airway indices. To determine the variations in laryngeal visualization with regards to other Anthropometric Measurements of the body.Timepoint: At the time of intubation | — |
