Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients newly diagnosed with primary Hypertension aged over 18 years of either sex giving valid, informed and written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with secondary hypertension. Patients on calcium/vitamin D supplements and medications affecting calcium-phosphorus and Uric acid metabolism.
