Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Already diagnosed cases of Ardhavabhedaka (as per Ayurvedic texts) and fulfilling criteria for Migraine (with or without aura). 2. Subjects who are willing for the study is included. 3. Subjects falling under age group 18-60 years will be selected for the study irrespective of their gender, socio-economic status, education, profession, etc. 4. Intensity moderate to severe. 5. Migraine with or without vomiting. 6. Migraine with or without Photophobia. 7. Rhythm continuous / intermittent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient who are not willing for the trial. 2. Age below 18 years and above 60 years. 3. Headache of opthalmic origin. 4. Pregnant or lactating women. 5. Severe systemic illness (eg. Uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy), psychological problems. 6. Secondary headache disorders (eg. Due to tumour, injury, trauma or any other causes). 7. Hearing impairment or any condition that prevents Mantra Sravan.

Primary

Significant improvement in signs and symptoms of Ardhavabhedaka (Migraine).Timepoint: Follow up of patients will be done on 15th, 30th, 45th, 60th day of treatment.

Secondary

Reduction in Migraine frequency, intensity, & duration as well as improvement in HIT-6 scoreTimepoint: At 4th week & 8th week
