Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria consists of trauma patients aged 18 or above who present in shock, defined as systolic blood pressure less than 90 mmHg, mean arterial pressure less than 65 mmHg, or need for vasopressors at presentation. In addition, patients must have at least one of the following abnormalities: Hypothermia: Body temperature below 35 C Acidosis: Arterial blood pH less than 7.35 Coagulopathy: INR greater than 1.5 or aPTT above 45 seconds Hypocalcaemia defined as total calcium less than 8.4 mg/dL or ionized calcium less than 2.1 mmol/L

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: Patients on long-term anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs Pregnant women Patients who were resuscitated or transported from other hospital after resuscitation
