Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed essential hypertension: SBP: 130 150 mmHg and/or DBP: 90 99 mmHg 2.Newly diagnosed or untreated cases not currently taking antihypertensive medication. 3.Willing and able to provide written informed consent. 4.Willing to comply with study procedures and follow-up visits.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Recent cardiovascular event (Myocardial infarction, stroke) within past 3 months. 2.Pregnant or lactating women. 3.Known allergy to Allium species. 4.Participation in another clinical trial in the past 30 days. 5.Any condition that may interfere with study participation or data reliability.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Immediate change in systolic and diastolic BP at 15, 30, and 45 minutes after administration of Allium sativum 3X 5 drops.Timepoint: Assessed at baseline and after 3 months of intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Onset of hypotensive action of Allium sativum 3X. 2.Mean reduction in BP from baseline to 12 weeks. 3.Proportion achieving BP less than 130/80 mmHg at 12 weeks. Timepoint: Assessed at baseline and after 3 months of intervention
