Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients above the age of 18 Patients requiring extraction of mandibular posterior teeth and rehabilitation with implants Patient must be willing to consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled systemic disease (ASA 3, 4, 5 and 6) Any disease or drug that affects bone metabolism Patients who have undergone radiotherapy Patients having coagulation disorders Heavy smoking ( greater than 1 pack per day), drug or alcohol users Pregnant and lactating women

MeasureTime frame
To compare bone quality of mandibular posterior extraction sites with and without local teriparatide, using CBCT and histological analysis Timepoint: Baseline, 3 months
