Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Association between Daihik Prakriti (Vata, Pitta, Kapha and their combinations) and severity of Osteoarthritis (Janugata Sandhivata) as assessed by Total WOMAC score (0 96)Timepoint: Single time-point assessment at baseline | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Comparison of WOMAC subscale scores among different Daihik Prakriti types: Pain subscale (0 20) Stiffness subscale (0 8) Physical function subscale (0 68) Distribution of clinical features of Sandhivata (Sandhishula, Sandhishotha, Atopa, Prasarana Akunchana Vedana, restricted ROM) across different Prakriti types. Correlation of radiological severity (X-ray knee joint findings) with Daihik Prakriti: Joint space narrowing Osteophyte formation Subchondral sclerosis Association of laboratory parameters (CRP, ESR, Vitamin D3, BMD, serum calcium) with severity of OA in different Prakriti groups. Identification of Prakriti-specific clinical patterns suggesting early onset, rapid progression, or chronicity of Janugata Sandhivata.Timepoint: Single time-point assessment at baseline | — |
