Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Unilateral chronic musculoskeletal shoulder pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pain due to a clearly defined external source (eg. fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis) Patients who have undergone surgical treatment and currrently on shoulder immobilisation Patients receiving/ received treatments known to alter pain perception significantly at the time of assessment Neck pain referred to shoulder region
