Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Pre-operative Anxiety as per Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V)with Age group between 20-70yr posted for Elective surgeries- Laparotomy & Proctological surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications of Pratimarsha Nasya/ Nasal instillation,known nasal pathology: deviated septum, sinusitis, nasal polyp, respiratory tract infections, cold or fever at the time of therapy,Pregnant and lactating women, Emergency surgeries,Patients with Psychiatric disorders on regular medication with previous history of surgical procedure ,having history ofHTN and uncontrolled DM & on systemic corticosteroids and CNS depressants
