Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 years and above. Current users of tobacco in any form (smoking and/or smokeless tobacco). Individuals in the pre-contemplation or contemplation stage of quitting. Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent. Able to understand and respond to the study questionnaires (MTSS, FTND/SSTND).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a history of severe psychiatric illness or cognitive impairment that may interfere with participation. Patients currently enrolled in any structured tobacco cessation program or receiving pharmacotherapy for tobacco dependence. Medically unstable individuals or those with serious systemic illness requiring immediate care. Individuals who have already decided to quit and are in the preparation or action stage. Individuals unwilling or unable to provide informed consent.
