Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex aged between 21 to 60 years. Patients presenting with neck pain and stambha(stiffness). Patients having Neck Disability Index score more than 4. Patients having Cervical Spine Range of Motion score more than 2. Patients willing to participate and ready to give written informed consent. Patients may have associated symptoms such as tingling, numbness in upper limbs, unilateral or bilateral radiating pain in arms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients aged below 21 years and above 60 years. Patients having fracture or dislocation of cervical spine. Patients having infectious disease of cervical spine. Patients with history of cervical spine surgery or trauma to neck region. Patients suffering from major systemic disorders or neurodegenerative conditions of spine such as tuberculosis or malignancy. Patients having severely restricted mobility of neck. Patients positive for HLA B27. Patients taking regular medication for cervical spondylosis. Patients having Neck Disability Index score between 35 to 50.
