Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age group 18-60 years. In all genders, religions, socioeconomic status, marital status. 2.Patient undergoing ksharsutra ligation in Bhagandara fistula in ano. Confirmed by clinical signs and symptoms. 3.Patient willing to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients below 18 years and above 60 years of age 2.Patients suffering from malignancy of any organ or ano-rectal region 3.Any severe systemic disorder 4.Patients not willing for Ksharasutra ligation 5.Associated diseases: Tuberculosis, Crohn s disease, HIV, Actinomycosis, Hidradenitis suppurativa, Syphilis, Herpes, Hepatitis 6.Patients with systemic comorbidities: Heart disease, Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, Hematological disorders. 7.Pregnancy 8.Patients with complications due to prior anal surgeries 9.Patients with previously failed fistula surgeries 10.Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) 11.Immunocompromised patients
