Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic cases of sciatica ( more than 8 weeks) Participants who are indicated for the Vasti procedure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Acute cases of Sciatica. ( less than 8 weeks) 2. Participants with a traumatic history or history of surgery affecting the spine, pelvis, or the same disc level. 3. Participants having severe systemic and concomitant neurological syndromes 4. Participants who are contraindicated for the vasti procedure. [Annexure 4] 5. Participants taking NSAIDs or other pain-relieving measures. 6. Pregnant and lactating women.

1. Changes in pain assessed using VAS scale. 2. Changes in Straight Leg Raise Test 3. Changes in Crossed Straight Leg Raise Test 4. Changes in scores of subjective symptomsTimepoint: 0th day, 8th day and 22nd day.
