Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male collegiate smokers Age between 20-25 years Current smokers with history of smoking for greater than or equal to 2 pack years Clinically healthy, no diagnosed COPD, asthma, or other chronic respiratory/cardiac/neurological disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non smokers or e-cigarette users Diagnosed COPD, asthma, restrictive lung disease, or recent respiratory infection (greater than 4 weeks). Any chest wall deformity or any spinal deformities Congenital heart defects and neurological disorders that limit exercise. Prior participation in structured respiratory muscle training programs. Musculoskeletal conditions preventing chest/upper-limb movements with TheraBand.
