Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Those diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus at least for 1 year firmly established by a medical officer. Those attending the OPD on customary follow-up for at least three visits . Those completed upper primary education.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and patients who are unable or unwilling to participate in the study will all excluded. A history of psychological disorders such as mood or anxiety disorders that will prevent them from receiving the intervention
