Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients that have signs and are reported to have an acute ischaemic stroke 2. Patients diagnosed with brain CT or MRI in accordance with 3. Patients who have given permission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Extreme liver conditions, disorders of the kidney or blood 2. Previous impairment from stroke 3. Cancer of the liver 4. No functional findings after 3 months after stroke
