Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: dult patients aged 18 to 60 years. 2. Diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Stage 3 to 5 (based on eGFR criteria). 3. Patients who are clinically stable and on regular follow-up for CKD.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes (which may independently affect cognition).

Change in cognitive performance as assessed by MMSE and MoCA scores from baseline to 3 months in CKD patients receiving erythropoietin therapy compared to those not receiving erythropoietinTimepoint: 3 months

Change in haemoglobin levels from baseline to three months correlation between change in haemoglobin levels & change in cognitive scores MMSE & MoCA domain specific cognitive improvement on MoCA subscales & incidence of adverse events related to erythropoietin therapy Timepoint: 3 months
