Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult male and female participants aged 20 to 80 years Clinically diagnosed cases of mild to moderate bronchial asthma Stable asthma on regular standard medical treatment Ability and willingness to participate in an 8-week lifestyle modification program Willingness to provide written informed consent Willingness to provide stool and blood samples for analysis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe or uncontrolled asthma or recent asthma exacerbation Presence of other chronic respiratory diseases (e.g., COPD, bronchiectasis, pulmonary tuberculosis) History of major gastrointestinal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, or recent gastrointestinal surgery Use of antibiotics, probiotics, prebiotics, or immunosuppressive drugs within the last 4 weeks Presence of severe systemic illnesses such as malignancy, severe cardiac disease, renal failure, or liver disease Pregnant or lactating women Individuals currently practicing regular yoga or structured lifestyle intervention programs Any physical or psychological condition that would limit safe participation in yoga practices
