Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years to 75 years Clinically and when required histopathological diagnosed cases of oral lichen planus Bilateral presentation of OLP lesion Systemically healthy individuals willing to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating women Patients with systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus Cushing syndrome or coagulation disorders Smokers and patients with infectious diseases such as hepatitis Patients on anticoagulant or immunosuppressive therapy. Presence of epithelial dysplasia or malignant transformation on histopathology.
