Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gestational age less than 37 completed weeks Presence of clinical respiratory distress Admission to SNCU or NICU during the study period Written informed consent obtained from parents or legal guardians

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Congenital heart disease Major congenital anomalies Pulmonary hypoplasia Chromosomal abnormalities Refusal of consent by parents or guardians
