Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pediatric patients aged 2 12 years. 2. Scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring neuromuscular blockade. 3. ASA physical status I or II. 4. Written informed consent obtained from parents/guardians.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known hypersensitivity to sugammadex, neostigmine, glycopyrrolate, or neuromuscular blocking agents. 2. Renal impairment or renal failure. 3. Hepatic dysfunction. 4. Neuromuscular junction disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis). 5. Pre-existing neurological or psychiatric illness.

1. Incidence and severity of postoperative emergence agitation, assessed using the Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium (PAED) scale. 2. Incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting, assessed using the Baxter Retching Faces (BARF) scale. 3. Incidence of postoperative urinary retention within the first 24 hours after surgery.Timepoint: 3 months
