Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants Age range 40 55 years Both Male and Female Diagnosed with Stage 1 Hypertension SBP 130 139 mmHg and DBP 80 89 mmHg according to ACC AHA 2025 guidelines Not on any changeable antihypertensive medication for at least 4 weeks prior to the study Able to understand instructions and perform breathing relaxation exercises Stable general health without acute illnesses

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Secondary hypertension renal endocrine or cardiovascular causes History of cardiovascular events myocardial infarction stroke heart failure in the last 6 months Chronic respiratory diseases COPD asthma that may interfere with breathing exercises Neurological disorders affecting autonomic function Pregnancy or lactation Use of pacemaker implantable defibrillator or contraindicated devices for vagal stimulation Current psychiatric illness or medication affecting autonomic or cardiovascular function. Participation in other clinical trials in the last 3 months Physical limitations preventing adherence to intervention protocols PMR SLB exercises
