Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients undergoing elective surgeries that require SPINAL anesthesia. -Both male and female patients. -Patients with a normal BMI (18.5 to 30) -Written informed consent from the patient or legal guardian. -ASA I & II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Pateint s refusal for participation -Infection at site of spinal anaesthesia -ASA III,IV & V. -Patient with comorbidities like HTN, DM, MI -Patient s aged less than 15 years and more than 60 years -History of allergy to dexmedetomidine or bupivacaine
