Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who will give the consent. Subjects with age group between 18-30 years. Gender- both males and females will be enrolled. Subjects having Positive jump sign on rhomboid muscles.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with Open wounds, unhealed surgical scars or active skin infections such as Dermatitis over the interscapular region. Subjects with Acute inflammation or acute muscle strain of the rhomboids. Subjects with recent fractures of the cervical spine, scapula, ribs or thoracic spine. Subjects with Pre Diagnosed case of Cervical Disc Herniation. Subjects with Malignancy in the treatment area.

MeasureTime frame
To study the effects of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) on interscapular pain, pressure pain threshold and shoulder disability in subjects with myofascial trigger points of the rhomboid muscles. To study the effects of Ischemic Compression Technique on interscapular pain, pressure pain threshold and shoulder disability in subjects with myofascial trigger points of the rhomboid muscles. Timepoint: 1st,5th and 10th days
