Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex, of age 18-60 years, weight ranging from 40- 70 kgs, with no anticipated difficulty in airway management belonging to ASA physical status I or III planned for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring nasal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient unwilling for consent, Un-cooperative patient, Patients with significant neurological, hepatic, renal or pulmonary disease, Patients having known allergies or contraindications to drugs being used in the study, Patients undergoing emergency procedures, Patients undergoing obstetric procedures, Patient with substance abuse history

TO EVALUATE TIME TAKEN TO VISUALIZE VOCAL CORDS (T1) AND TOTAL TIME FOR SUCCESSFUL PLACEMENT OF ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE (T2) USING AWAKE NASAL FIBREOPTIC TECHNIQUE VIA TUBE FIRST OR SCOPE FIRST TECHNIQUE.Timepoint: MEAN ARTERIAL PRESSURE, HEART RATE, SpO2 WILL BE EVALUATED AT BASELINE, AFTER INTUBATION AT 1 MINUTES, 3 MINUTES, 6 MINUTES, 9 MINUTES, 12 MINUTES AND 15 MINUTES—

ASSESSMENT OF PATIENT SATISFACTION SCORE. GRADE OF INTUBATING CONDITION. RAMSAY SEDATION SCORE. CHANGES IN HEMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS (SPO2, HEART RATE, MEAN ARTERIAL PRESSURE) Timepoint: OUTCOMES WILL BE ASSESSED USING SPO2, HEART RATE, MEAN ARTERIAL PRESSURE WHICH WILL BE RECORDED AT BASELINE AND THEN EVERY 3 MINUTES TILL 15 MINUTES AFTER INTUBATION. PATIENT SATISFACTION WITH THE PROCEDURE WILL BE RECORDED USING VISUAL ANALOG SCALE. GARDING OF INTUBATING CONDITION WILL BE NOTED.—
