Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Single episode of stroke with a duration of more than 6 months. 2.Patients with hemorrhagic or ischemic vascular lesion of middle cerebral artery. 3.Lower limb Brunnstrom recovery stage 4 to 5. 4.Montreal cognitive assessment score greater than or equal to 26 out of 30. 5.Berg balance score less than 49. 6.Trunk Impairment Scale score less than 21. 7.Ability to walk 10 meters distance with or without walking aid (cane or tripod)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with history of severe disabling arthritis. 2.Patients with any lower extremity deformity or any musculoskeletal disorder. 3.Patients with cardiac or pulmonary deficits. 4.Patients with balance dysfunctions associated with Parkinson s disease, severe sensory loss on sole of foot, vertigo or cerebellar lesion.
