Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Permanent dentition 2. Presence of untreated Carious lesions 3. Resident of Odisha for at least 5 years 4. No deleterious habits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic or immunocompromised conditions 2. Genetic disorders or craniofacial abnormalities 3. Ungoing Orthodontic treatment.

Identification of Significant ENAM SNPs: The study is expected to reveal one or more specific SNPs in the ENAM gene that are significantly associated with different levels of dental caries severity.Timepoint: The unstimulated saliva samples will be collected in the 1st appointment, and will be estimated at baseline period.
