Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects aged between 21 50 years irrespective of gender Overweight and Class I obese subjects having Body Mass Index between 25 34.9 kg/m Subjects having serum total cholesterol level between 200 240 mg/dl Subjects presenting with more than 50% of the clinical features of Sthaulya as described under subjective assessment parameters. Subjects who are willing to participate and fulfill all the required criteria of the clinical trial, with written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects aged below 21 years and above 50 years Subjects having Body Mass Index less than 25 kg/m or more than 34.9 kg/m Subjects having serum total cholesterol level more than 240 mg/dl Subjects having a history of hormonal disorders or any other underlying systemic illness Subjects with a history of hereditary obesity Subjects who are unwilling to participate or not providing written informed consent
