Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of hemothorax/hemopneumothorax requiring ICD insertion will be enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who denied consent for participation in the study or who underwent emergency thoracotomy were excluded. Patients with deranged coagulation profile.
