Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Presenting with joint pain, stiffness, crepitus, and restricted movement suggestive of Sandhigata vata. Meets Ayurvedic preliminary case definition as judged by two Ayurvedic physicians. Symptom duration is more than or equal to 3 months. Able to provide informed consent and comply with assessment procedures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Clear evidence of inflammatory arthritis, septic arthritis, or connective tissue disease. Acute trauma or fracture to the index joint in the past 6 months. Intra-articular injection in the past 3 months; arthroscopy/arthroplasty in the past 12 months. Severe deformity or end-stage joint disease precluding clinical assessment. Neurological disorders or severe cognitive impairment affecting valid responses. Uncontrolled comorbidities Current participation in another interventional trial impacting joint symptoms. Pregnancy or lactation.
