Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 - 3 patients planned for elective surgery involving pneumoperitoneum.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pre existing active lung and airway disease 2. pathological conditions that reduce chest wall compliance

MeasureTime frame
To compare the mechanical power between volume control and pressure control mode of ventilation in pediatric patients during pneumoperitoneumTimepoint: Baseline after 5 mins of intubation, after pneumoperitoneum creation, every 30mins of procedure and after deflation of pneumoperitoneum.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the driving pressure between the two groups, during pneumoperitoneum.Timepoint: Baseline after 5 mins of intubation, after pneumoperitoneum creation, every 30mins of procedure & after deflation of pneumoperitoneum.;To compare the lung ultrasound scores between the groups before & after deflation of pneumoperitoneum at the end of the surgery.Timepoint: Baseline after 5 mins of intubation, after pneumoperitoneum creation, every 30mins of procedure & after deflation of pneumoperitoneum.
