Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Diagnosed and confirmed cases of insomnia, as per signs and symptoms in Ayurveda text. b. Individuals between the age group of 18-60 years of both sexes have insomnia. c. Diagnosed with insomnia (based on ISI score greater than or equals to 8). d. Patients willing to participate in the clinical trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Patients below 18 years and above 60 years of age. b. Major psychiatric illness like schizophrenia & epilepsy excluded. c. Alcohol dependency & drugs dependency excluded. d. Chronic illness like asthma, renal failure, diabetes excluded. e. Acute illness like cerebro -vascular accidents, congestive cardiac failure, myocardial infarction,and similar other disorders excluded. f. Contraindicated for both therapy.
